Construction for the new retail development begins in September, with stores expected to open by early 2026. Okland Capital and San Tan Development Group have begun construction on Northside at SanTan Village, a mixed-use development in Gilbert, Arizona, featuring high-end retail, restaurants, and a hotel. The project, with a total investment of over $100 million, aims to transform a 20-acre area and integrate seamlessly into the upscale offerings of the SanTan Village corridor. Completion of the first phase is anticipated by mid-2025, with a grand opening in fall 2025 and additional phases, including a 134-key hotel, planned subsequently.

Recently, Shea Homes acquired 76 lots in Northpointe at Vistancia, Peoria, adding to the 125 lots purchased in 2023, with plans to buy more. The Ridgecrest development will start construction by late 2024, offering homes priced from the high $400,000s. This boutique model aims to provide the same quality and lifestyle of Trilogy communities in a more intimate setting.

Known for its vibrant atmosphere, Backyard features a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, gourmet burgers, wood-fired pizzas, craft cocktails, numerous large-screen TVs for sports viewing, live music, and interactive games like cornhole and giant Jenga. EEG plans to renovate the existing 9,500-square-foot space, transforming it with modern decor, comfortable seating, and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment to elevate the overall dining and entertainment experience.
